Wamp's eating my system resources

I'm having problems with wamp 1.7.3 eating up system resources on my server. I have 3-4 workstations accessing a php driven application running on a local server. I keep getting errors on the server that wamp had a problem and needed to restart. I will then look at my processes and see that httpd.exe is running over 75% of my CPU usage and is using over 40,000 K memory usage. I will then restart the services and everything will work well again for a little while. Has anyone else had these kind of troubles running wamp on a Win XP SP2 machine, and how did you fix them.

Thanks in advance

Shut down wamp, delete/rename the log files, set the limit size for them, then restart wamp

I'm having a similar issue - Is this for all 3 log files, and if so, I can't really find where to "limit size" in the 3 config files.

Thanks if you can help!

I think I've found it.

This was in the php.ini "log_errors_max_len = 1024"

Is this it? And if it is, what does the 1024 refer to, MB, KB?

Thanks

it's refer to byte so it should be 1KB, but for some reason, it's over load ;-) and you might end up in GB's of error log file ;-)
