Steven,
Normally to login in as a separate user I simply go to the c prompt in my local system and change the directory to C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.5.24\bin then from there I could log in to whatever user I want. Likewise I want to login to whatever user I want from the mysql console but you say that cannot be done....

The mysql console is only available ONCE you are logged in , so yes , you cannot use the mysql login to change the user.

but did you follow my post above an now have a Menu with two MYSQL CONSOLE options, one for each user?

so thenyou dont need to go to command prompt anymore and login , yes?

you can add all your users to the list.

or else if you want , ill write you code that will ask for a user an password from the menu?

close wamp.

download and replace the tpl file with this copy > [pampserver.com]

restart wamp

Use the console as normal and provide details.

(Sorry about the crudeness of the interface, and the cancel button doesnt work on the prompts. i have fixed this in the new executable which i will link to in January)
