Database error sometimes

I sometimes get a database error

The database has encountered a problem.

Most of the time my web runs grate but somtemes this error pops up throug out the site....???

It is usualy enoug to reload the page.

I run latest wamp on windows 2003,

What can it be??

Hi,

It would help if you could post the precise error message. You can check the message from the MySQL log in the folder c:\wamp\logs. Depending on the web application you are running, the error handling and reporting is done in the database module which can produce different messages.

If you have not shut down the Windows 2003 server properly, there is a chance that the index of a table is corrupt. PHPMyAdmin may help but you could also install MySQL Administrator from [dev.mysql.com]. The MySQL Administrator shows the tables with corrupt indexes in red and it has the option to check and repair them.
