Hi there,

I have used WAMP5 for a couple months for developing website using PHP language
The first time I've Installed WAMP5 there is no error or problem.
Everything is OK.

Now, I want to install it to my new computer, there a aproblem.
I cannot access the Localhost nor PHPmyadmin
I guess the problem is in the Apache services

I'm using WAMP 1.6.6
and the instalation was successfull.
the WAMP5 indicator on my taskbar is white (ALL services running - server offline)
and when I check the Apache Log, the last error was :
[Wed Oct 10 21:42:40 2007] [error] (OS 10038)An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket. : Child 1572: Encountered too many errors accepting client connections. Possible causes: dynamic address renewal, or incompatible VPN or firewall software. Try using the Win32DisableAcceptEx directive.

I'm not using any firewall, just standard firewall from WIndows, just like my old computer settings.
is there any other possible problem ??
because I've seek this matter on internet, and I'dont find the clue sad smiley

can anyone help me please ?

Thank You

Shan

Give this a shot---

Go into the httpd.conf file and add the line: Win32DisableAcceptEx

Save the file and restart Apache
