WampServer

Hello all
I installed wamp5 1.7.3
but mysql service is not working .
I checked various reasons .
1) no other sql, php IIS installed, I even Format my machine and reinstalled wamp but same problem
2) I am using XP

so I like to any specific hardware i need for wamp .

While my primary server is Core 2 Quad Q6600 (built under $400) and my secondary server is Core 2 Duo E4500 (built under $250), the above spec is my third computer: the backup server and except 4 softs: Win XP Pro SP2, Norton 360, Wamp1.7.3+ and Sync+, there is nothing else on this server. I've just recently upgraded it from 1.7.0 to 1.7.3. I picked this computer up from a garbage area, only replaced the corrupted hd w/ 2 new 250GB and install 4 mentioned softs, and so far it runs w/o any problem.

So the answer for your question is no specific hardware, but you should choose software wisely cause some might not compatible such as Windows Fundamentals, so on
