cannot access to phpMyAdmin

hi,
I've installed WAMP5 1.7.2 to my PC which is using win 2000. I am able to start both service Apache and MySQL. I am also able to access localhost but when i try to access phpMyAdmin and SQLiteManager, i instead received a blank page with "you are not authorized to view this page" (http 403 forbidden). Can anyone pls help in this, thanks.

Oh!!! So you're actually using a "very rare to find ancient OS" such as win2k

just answer their question without braiding them for using an old os.

I had the same "FORBIDDEN" problem with phpMyadmin on wamp 1.7.2.
I read all the the Topics and hadn't find any usable answers. But I find my own way to fix this problem. It's not so ellegant, but it works fine to me:
1. Copy the phpmyadmin folder into the www root
2. Rename it ( for exaple: phpmyadmin2 )
3. use [localhost]
4. bookmark it in your browser
I hope It will work.
On My system it works fine ( win 2000 sp4 )
