php has an error_reporting setting that controls what kind of errors are outputted the the browser. php comes with error_reporting set to E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE which means only serious errors are reported. if you want to turn on all errors set it to E_ALL

open:
c:\wamp\apache2\bin\php.ini

find:
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

change to
error_reporting = E_ALL

save the file and restart apache for the new setting to take effect.
