HI all,
I just successfully set up a WAMP server, and while I'm all proud of it and all, I was wondering how to password protect it, either make it a "write-only" password or even read/write password entry is fine (I'll just be showing off this website to a few friends). I don't see anything in WAMP documentation as of right now, but I don't want my friends to hack it and then make it something it's not....

thanks
if i'm not clear, just say so

If you are running on port 80, and it is accessable from outside, the main concerns are that you don't have windows file and folder sharing turned on the server :-P

Depending on what you want to password protect and how you want to do it.. a .htaccess file would be the best way to go..

head to [cooletips.de] to create one simply and easily.
