I installed wamp5 as per instruction. All services and server are running.
I unzipped joomla into the www directory.
When I go to localhost/joomla/ I get 404 not found.
When I go to localhost/install.php, I get a restricted message.
I understand there is a security map file. I do not know where it should be located nor do I know the name of this file.
please help

I checked the attitrubtes of the folders and they were checked read only .
I unchecked the folder read only and applied and oked it I right clicked on it again and the read only box was checked again.
I shared the folders and allowed users to change the files.
I still get the restricted message.
I thought there was an security file to delete to get rid of the message.
