WampServer

Hi,

I have created a web based application (website) using WAMP5_1.4.3 Now i am using Windows Vista and upgraded my WAMP to WAMP5 1.7.0 with Apache 2.2.4 and PHP 5.2.1

Now that web based application (website) is not working properly on my new WAMP5_1.7.0 , But it is still working fine on old WAMP5_1.4.3

The main problem is coming while connecting to MySQL database. It is not getting any records from database and i think data base is not connected properly.

Can you please guide me what should i do. I am totally stuck. ( I am not a expert )

search this forum for vista, or wait for yfastud . he has vista and wamp working fine.

Wamp 1.7.0 has some new features which can't not directly upgrade from previous version but uninstall old, then install new 1.7.0; however, before doing so, you must backup your databases that you can either use phpmyadmin to export or use dump function w/ mysql console.

Vista has some new features like windows defender, User Account Control that prevent unauthorized install/run apps. Check my old post here for suggestion:
