hi i have downloaded the latest WAMP package and installed it after unistalling the previouse version, the reason that i did this is because i have a progam noahs ads and i tired to install it and it says "PHP 4 not found. The application requires PHP 4. Please download it from www.php.net or from zend.com, and try it again!" what is happening and what do i need to do to make it work.

install the wamp php4 addon. when you are finished installing it, you can start it by:

left click on the wamp tray icon -> switch to php4

sorry i am an newbie and i am trying to learn this rather than keep asking questions , but i have been looking for two days and cannot fathom it out, i downloaded the file
"PHP-4.4.6-win.zip" but i have no idea how to install it, i have read the install guide and it goes on and on and i get lost, i will uninstall the wamp and do a reinstall so that it is clean, could you walk me throught the addon install, i would be very gratfull.

It's the wrong one, you have to download from Add-on on main page of this forum or through this link
