phpmyadmin problem

suddenly, i started wamp and got the following message when i try to browse phpmyadmin " #2003 - The server is not responding "
i didn't rembember doing anything or changing any of the settings.is there a clear reason for this problem..is it someone hacked my computer and corrupt my databse and is there a solution for this problem...

make sure mysql is running. you can not use phpmyadmin unless apache and mysql are both running.
