port 80

First, I love this program...it has saved me hours of time. The other day however, my Apache server just stopped working. I uninstalled, deleted all my old files and then reinstalled and still no luck. I did an automatic install, and I am getting a port 80 error.

WAMP "Your Port 80 is actually used by: Information not available (might be Skype)."

I read that this could be due to a missing # in a .conf file, but I am not savy enough to find an error... any help? The article is here: [www.tjkdesign.com]

Cheers,
Kristy

After uninstall, did you search and delete all related wamp? To be exact, search and delete all wampapache, wampmysql, and php.ini in WINDOWS and in REGISTRY before reinstall wamp.

Have fun,

This happened to me too.
Just shut down skype then try restarting the services. Then restart skype.
Do you even have skype?

Well, I did just that and it worked.
