WampServer

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed wamp 1.7.0
when I hover the mouse over the icon in the tray it says "wamp5 - all services running - server online"
I did install using all the default values.

when I try to open phpmyadmin (left click icon => left click phpmyadmin)
I got the message 403
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin/ on this server.

Can anyone explain how I can open phpmyadmin ?
I installed wamp as administrator and I am trying to open phpmyadmin as administrator.

windows 2000 professional
sp4

Is it possible that wamp is behaving weirdly because I have easyphp installed ?

For some reason, I see a lot of people here have problem w/ 1.7.0 on w2k, so either switch wamp back to 1.6.6 or 1.6.5 or upgrade w2k to win xp or vista.

Edit: I didn't notice that you had easyphp. In that case, you need to uninstall easyphp first, search and delete all related easyphp's apache, mysql, and php in WINDOWS and in REGISTRY before install this wamp package.

you need to uninstall easyphp. only one copy of apache can run at one time.
