ok im new to all this so i i downloaded php learning program....(lynda.com)
all going well up till i get to connecting to data or retriveing data

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'user1'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in C:\wamp\www\learning_php2\working_with_databases\connecting_to_data.php on line 8
Could not connect: Access denied for user 'user1'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

im using dreamweaver 8 and ive set a site just a learning one,is there some i need to do within here,i also no wat the password is so where it all go


i know this may seem v.noobish but it is new to me.
any help would be greatful,thx
