confusion?

I recently installed the newest version 1.7.0 on to my windows 2000 machine.

When I try to access either phpadmin or sqlitemanager I get

==============================================================

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /sqlitemanager/ on this server.

==============================================================

or its equivalent.

What have I done wrong | forgotten to do | ............ ?

Thanks

Mike harris

By default, phpmyadmin and sqlitemanager are not accessible from outsiders, and you should keep it that way for your own protection, but if you're good in programming, read the codes and modify to meet your needs.

Have fun

I too am getting this problem on Windows 2000 (Server) (all patched).

I downloaded Wamp5 1.7.0 and installed on the machine, and I can't get access to the phpadmin, or sqlitemanager (either locally or remotely -- remotely = same network).

I install on my Windows XP SP2 machine and do the exact install, and I can access the two portions just fine.

Is there possibly a missing component for the Windows 2000 system that creating this issue?

I'd also appreciate any assistance!

Thanks!

Eric.

I'm not quite sure about it because I'm still using 1.6.5

That did the trick for me --- 1.6.5 works flawlessly on Windows 2000 Server. Hopefully 1.7.0 will be fixed?

Thanks yfastud.

(Hope this works for you too, Mike)
