Hello! I'm new with this program so I need help. To run joomla 1.5 I must start both services, but in my case...only service that starts is Apache. So I want to ask if anyone knows why mysql service is not running? Bye

Did you ever have any other db installed? If yes, did you uninstall it yet? Anyway, check port 3306 and mysql error log to see what wrong.

Have fun

sorry if this question is dumb.....but on port 3306 I don't have anything. I'm wondering, do I have to have a mysql db installed before on computer, before I installed Wamp5? Because I'm quite sure that I don't have any other databases on my computer. Greetings...

do you have any other versions of mysql installed? if so, you will need to uninstall them to get wamp mysql to work.
