wamp and Vista

I had used wamp on my WinXP with no problem. Purchased a new computer, Win Vista has a monopoly, you can't get a computer w/o it now.

I installed Wamp again, and every time I install it, it will run, but I have to keep installing it because I can't get the services to run manually by clicking on "start all services."

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pamela

for Vista, right click on wampserver.exe and check "run as administrator"

I had done that, thank you. Problem is, it still wants me to go through the install process.

See I can install it, and once it's installed and set up for Automatic, it will be on. But if I need to turn it off for any reason, and then restart services, it doesn't restart. I tried setting it for manual, and I also tried setting it for automatic. But either way I still get the same process.....reinstall, starts auto, stop services and can never restart services unless I reinstall.

I Have A Solution for You:

1) Burn important files onto a DVD
2) Download and burn a linux distro to a cd/dvd
3) Reformat HDD
4) Install linux
5) Never go back to Windows...

I just bought a brand new computer. What a stupid solution. I come to the HELP forum to get that kind of response? That's lame!

People don't ask for assistance with something to have you tell them to reformat their entire hard drive and switch to an OS they have no clue about!

Can't believe you even wasted your time writing that? Just to be smart? I guess?

Bad solution. It worked just fine on WinXP, but I have no option right now but to use WIN Vista that came on my new computer.
