Actually, I don't know why you bother about that codes because I installed wampserver in more than 50 boxes for my friends and co-workers and didn't change any code except setup firewalls, router, and added vh, and some friends didn't even have vh because they have only one site, so after put server in online mode, if still can't access from outside, check you setting for firewalls and router.

BTW, you might want to check my old post here which might be in handy for newbie but not if you're computer literately

Aah, it's not that important. I'm just a curious guy.

when you put your server on offline mode you are blocking all access to your wamp server to everyone but you (localhost).

if you want wamp accessible by others besides you, change it to online mode.

Hello Eagle Creek. For the record, I think you have been abundantly clear on exactly what it is you want to know, so I'm wondering if the other two people are just messing with you. Anyway, what wamp does is make a change in httpd.conf when you switch between online and offline. When you're server is online, it looks like this:

# Controls who can get stuff from this server.
#
# onlineoffline tag - don't remove
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from all

And when it's offline it looks like this:

# Controls who can get stuff from this server.
#
# onlineoffline tag - don't remove
Order Deny,Allow
Deny from all
Allow from 127.0.0.1

So you can change it manually in httpd.conf if you like and it doesn't require any advanced "coding" or whatever. Anyway have fun and I hope this finally answers your question ;D.
