Everyone is a noob at least once, right? And I didn't just spend days or weeks but months to get what I'm having right now, not too much but better nothing, so I know how it feels when you keep searching and can't get what you want, thus I have a old post here and hope you can get some good tips from it

I might have installed multiple instances of wamp at one time.
BTW, based on you post, I think you might have to uninstall wamp and before reinstall it, search and delete my.ini, php.ini, wampapache, wampmysql in your laptop and also in registry.
Have fun
