Hi guys,

I'm actually learning how to create an image gallery and I was wandering how do I change the permission of the files and folders? I use wamp5 as my local test server. On my server I have the config panel to do that but I don't know how to change it with wamp5.

So what did you find out?

To get the writing permission on my file and folder I just had to to go in properties and uncheck read-only. But what I don't understand with that is why every time I go back in those properties the read-only is checked again. Does it automatically check back the read-only by default when we go into the properties of the folder?

I guess so, it does the same thing with my other computer.

It depends. Some apps auto set files/folders to 444 (equal w/ read only in windows) every time it restarts.
