incorporating mysql/php into a website.

i am doing a project at work using wampserver.Its a Library search database.So far i've got everything ready and done. The website where it will be uploaded doesn't incorporate any mysql or php but it has pearl.(for searching memos etc)

How do i go about incorporating mysql/php into the website.

1. Recommend: Better get at least 1 mysql db at the host that your sites will be uploaded

2. Not recommend but doable: implement your codes to call db from your company's or your house's server using wamp, and have to be carefully not include username and password in the codes but better have section to check upon logon.
