I can't figure out how to connect to a database made in phpmyadmin using Visual Basic.NET. I've tried using an SQLConnection object but it can't find the database on the server. (using direct static IP) and I would much rather hard-code it since it only needs to be invoked at certain times. Can anyone help?

Did you enable odbc yet? or maybe this sample help:

how would I go about enabling odbc? I know how to get to it, just not what I need to do when I get there.

WAMP is running on a system running MS Windows Server 2003. Do I need to enable odbc there or on the machine I'm making the program on? And, will odbc need to be enabled on every system that needs to run the program?

If I'm not wrong, enable it through tray icon; however, I'm not really using it, so you might want to search this forums for that question
