PHP not working correctly.

Apache and Mysql are both running correctly, I have checked this.
Whenever I load [localhost] or phpinfo.php firefox asks to save the PHP file,
I have no idea why this is not working, may be due to the fact that I had php previously installed on my machine, without any controlling software i.e. WAMP
A friend advised me on this site, for control of my services and configuration so I thought Id give it ago?
Am I locating my php.ini file removing all instances, and all instances of the previous php installed, and reinstalled WAMP? or is there something else Im missing here?

Hmm, seem to have solved the problem myself, it was infact an older php.ini file locating in %systemroot%
Where as WAMPS php.ini file is location in C:\{Instalation Directory}\apache\php.ini
