php doesn't work in www directory

Yupse!

I've got the following problem.
I recently installed the wamp server.
Everything works fine.
I can use phpMyAdmin.
BUT the php files in my "www" directory are not supported.
Even a <? phpinfo(); ?> doesn't work.

Can someone help me with this one?

use full tag <?php ?> and access through [localhost]
