I am installing wamp 1.6.6 , testing phpmyadmin and joomlaCMS is runing. Yet however my PHP scripts not runing with new versiyon wamp. HTML lines posting to client and not rendering PHP lines.

Have you got suggestion for me

I've got the exact same problem.

PHP is echoed to the screen as regular text. It is not interpreted.

There must be some kind of problem recognizing php files. Eg a .php extension doesn't trigger the proper handler. I'm not an expert with Apache, but that's my guess.

My System: win xp (latest service packs), any browser (occurs on Firefox, IE 7 and Opera), PHP 5.2, Apache 2.

I changed the Document Root to c:\webserve\eactobj\ - eg the document root isn't the default one, but otherwise my setup is the default.

Ok, you need to change the php tag from

<?

to

<?php
