Hi, I have installed wampserver on my notebook and all ok. It's possible to install wampserver on a pen usb and use this on another computer? If yes, I can copy all files from notebook to pen usb?
it should work. hell, I once installed an entire operating system OpenSuse Linux 10.2 to my Western Digital usb drive (the best flavor of linux out there in my opinion)
expect it to only work on NT machines that you have sufficient administrator rights.
be warned, several machines do have assigned port 80 already to a dummy IIS. (there is yet no smart checking in the wamp package for circumventing this.)
i dont know how much it takes to temporarily install the services trough batches or maybe even those tray icon. the beinaries for the services better reside in a "non-volatile" directory, else you might risk ejecting paranoia from the OS.
a plain install plus a patch of the config could be better and possibly ease the case of updating the framework independent from the application data.
launching a browser on the self-ip should be the least fuzz in your quest.
