can't install apache service

I've used the wamp5_1.6.5.exe to install WAMP. I'm unable to install the Apache Service. The message I receive when I test Port 80 or try to install the Apache service is "information is not available". I'm not running Skype and I have my Firewall turned off. Please advise soonest. Thanks!

I have ensured that IIS is not running. While troubleshooting, I have found and run "netsh" on my system (the system that can't run Apache). The output of netsh is listed below. With this, can anyone tell me if one of the Network Clients (or anything else) is preventing me from running Apache? Thanks much.

netsh diag>show all

Default Outlook Express Mail (Not Configured)

Default Outlook Express News (Not Configured)

Internet Explorer Web Proxy (Not Configured)

Loopback (127.0.0.1)

Computer System (LAURIEHPLAPTOP)

Operating System (Microsoft Windows XP Professional)

Version (5.1.2600)

Modems (Conexant 56K ACLink Modem)

Network Adapters ([00000004] Broadcom 802.11b)

Network Clients
1. Microsoft Terminal Services
2. Microsoft Windows Network
3. Web Client Network

netsh diag>
