using WME .asx file

I had a problem connecting to a windows media stream embedded on my website hosted on my home pc with wamp. Does the mime in wamp support asx files? i had to put the .asx for my stream on a different server to get it to work.

open up your httpd.conf file and find this line
#AddType application/x-tar .tgz

below that add
AddType video/x-ms-asf .asx

now save the file, and restart apache for your new setting to take effect.
