please guide

Hello all,

i hv installed wampserver and i put a file in to c:/wamp/www/test.php and when i run the test.php as [localhost] then HTTP 404 error occured which is page not found.
what would be solution to it.
please tell me if any other additional info. / settings required to be done.

make sure you have started apache.

I tried it by install service but it told that IIS is installed and we have to remove IIS to install Apache and is it ok if we uninstall IIS and Install Apache and also tell us how to work with Apache

to start apache use the wamp tray icon.
