Move from XP to W2K3 Server problems

Hello all,

I've been using WAMP5 1.6.4 on my XP box for a number of months without problem. I've just upgraded it to Windows 2003 Server and cannot get pages to display. IIS isn't running and I've tried changing the port on which Apache listens. All that happens is that the IE progress bar gets to about half way, then stops. The Apache service is running but there are many errors in its log.... namely

[error] (OS 10038)An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket. : Child 820: Encountered too many errors accepting client connections. Possible causes: dynamic address renewal, or incompatible VPN or firewall software. Try using the Win32DisableAcceptEx directive.

Tried that and it made no difference. Hope someone can shed some light on this as it's driving me mad.

Thanks,
Nigel

[httpd.apache.org]

also remember anytime you edit your httpd.conf file, you need to restart apaceh for the new settings to take effect.

All that directive does in this case is cause "The page cannot be displayed" screen to be displayed almost immediately.... error log.....
