I want to use this local server to show now and then some of mine projects. Thats why I put a password in phpMyadmin. It works great when using php5. But when I switch to php4 wich I need for my projects my username en password are not accepted anymore!!

Does someone have a sollution for this, to me, big problem?? PLease help

I'm sorry I already found that. My question was not specific enough (I'm not a native speaker).

I don't know where to put the old_password thing and I'm not sure how specific I have to put it into that spot.

So could you tel me where i can find the file to put it in?

And could you give me an simple example how to put it in?

I would be very glad if you want to help me out.

Greetings

Martijn

Did you check the article as CyberSpatium' suggestion?

[dev.mysql.com]

Either use DOS command prompt or phpMyadmin to run those MySQL codes.

Hope this help
