WampServer

I used to use WAMP 1.4 without any problems, then one day after not using it for awhile i noticed that i couldn't get it to start the apache service anymore.

So i uninstalled and download 1.6.4, once installed it gave me the same problem. Won't start Apache. So i went on a major mission downloading 3 or 4 different wamp type programs and eventaully i got WAMP 1.6.4 working. Great stuff.

Now 2 days later i wanna use it again and what do you know? Can't start Apache.

I don't have IIS installed and if i test port 80 it says it's not in use.

Anyone have ANY idea how to fix this? Could it be a service (in XP) that i've disabled that needs to be enabled?

try uninstalling wamp again. make sure you delete the whole wamp folder, then reinstall wamp again.
