Password for phpmyadmin

I use WAMP5 1.6.4. When I installed addon (PHP4.4.2 ADD-ON for WAMP5 1.6.4 (6 Mo) ) all was right. But, when i run application and change phpversion from 5 to 4, my mysql password stop work, and i can't login to phpmyadmin. When I returned to php5 all was right. I think that this is a bug but what you think about it ?
