no, WAMP is<b> W</b>Indows, Apache, MySQL, PHP. Linux comes with Apache, MySQL, and php. what distro do you have?

if you have apache installed on your linux os, you can use one of these commands to start apache

if you have apache 2.x use
apache2ctl start

otherwise use
apachectl start

to stop apache use
apache2ctl start
apachectl start

I have the older versions of Apache, MySQL and PHP on my Linux. While trying to upgrade and install a fresh, I have countless incompatibilities. I just though and wished there was a WAMP for linux to solve this.
