localhost

i have start wamp but i can't start the server. when i clicking on the icon and click on localhost, but then he can't find something

port 80 needs to be free in order for apache to start. so if another server is already using port 80, apache will not start. if you windows 2000 or 2003, make sure IIS is not running. also skype uses port 80. if you have skype make sure it is not running or it will cause apache to not start.
