WAMP Server 3.4.1

I have just installed WAMP Server 3.4.1 (from 3.4.0) and the icon in the system tray no longer responds to left clicks or right clicks. I have restarted my PC and re-installed Tray Menu Manager 3.2.7.7 (it told me that version was already installed, but I continued anyway), but the same outcome. Hovering over the icon in the system tray has the tooltip "WAMPSERVER - All services are running" and sure enough the web server is running just fine, but alas! No way to access any settings. Any ideas?

For your information, prior to the install I was also using Apache 2.4.66.3, PHP 8.5.4, MariaDB 12.2.2, and Phpmyadmin 5.2.3. My PC is running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit. The Wampserver icon in the system tray remains green.

Im getting the same with the 3.4.1

Things tried:
Reinstalled the redist's with the latest versions.
Installed via Right click 'As Administrator'

Both left and right click do not bring up a menu
wamp64/logs folder cleaned out - no change

Noticed php_error with version 8.2.30 which i did not personally install prior to the 3.4.1 installer. The logs indicated missing /ext

The wamp64\bin\php\php8.2.30folder is missing the dev/ext/extras/lib/zend_ext folders and is 55MB in size versus 82MB for php8.2.29

Just manually installed php 8.2.30 (had to manually deleted the old folder with the missing bits) using the provided 8.2.30 only installer, right and left click menus then started working on the wamp tray icon after restarting the tray app

Thanks for sharing your experience, KiefFJ. I checked and my PHP 8.2.30 seemed to be intact; I know that Wampserver uses that for core jobs.

However, I don't know if Wampserver 3.4.1 has been modified since it was first released (and what I installed), but I've just reinstalled it. I was told that it was already installed and if I'd like to reinstall. I did and the menus are working again now.

Reinstalling PHP 8.2.30 cured this problem for me

Thanks for the hint.

Johan.

Hello,

Please re-download the Wamapserver 3.4.1 update and run the file as an administrator and then answer "Yes" to the question: "PHP version 8.2.30 is already installed. Do you want to reinstall it?"

There was an issue with the installation of PHP 8.2.30, which I didn't notice because I already had PHP 8.2.30 installed.

Sorry!
