WampServer

I cannot change the CHMOD / Permission for my folders. Not even in a ftp program.
Why not? Anyone have any sulotion for this?
Mine is stuck on 755 (original) and I have to change it to 777 (full access by everyone)

chmod is only supported on linux/unix OS's, not windows. so dont worry about changing file permissions since windows does not support it.

But I have to change it.. Else the attach mod dosnt work..

if you are installing a script and it tells you use chmod, just ignore it since windows does not support it. it is not going to cause your script to not work.

yeah it does.. it makes attachment mod on my forum not to work..

What forum do you use? Attachment mod works fine for my phpBB forum, check here:

Sure. What mod do you want? Attachment or resize or both? Remember, when it ask for chmod, just ignore it, it still work as you can see in my server, and you also have to follow the mod precisely.

I keep getting this msg when I attach files.
I've been told that its because of the CHMOD 777 by phpbb.com support, but as you say.. it dosnt seem logical.

like i said, chmod is not supported in windows, so it is not a chmod issue.

Nothing seem to work I still get error msges..
But thats very weird too as I can post a file that is 28kb but not 1 thats 78kb.. abd the max size for each attachment is set to 256kb.
