Hello everyone, First of all, I have to apologize. I'm new here and don't quite well understand everything. After many years of using XAMPP, I switched to WAMP about a week ago. Why? In conjunction with Windows 11, the XAMPP server is incredibly slow. WAMP, on the other hand, is very fast, and I'm glad I switched over. But what do I want to use WAMP for? To test my PHP-based programs on localhost before putting them online. And that's where my problem unfortunately begins. PHP officially makes the RC1, RC2, and RC3 candidates for their version PHP8.5 available for download some time ago (today is October 27, 2025). Hooray! I want to test my (deprecated?) scripts as soon as possible. WAMP has made its latest version available for download online as wampserver3.3.7_x64.exe. Now at least try to install at minimum the update to PHP v.8.4.14 that's been available for about a week here. This requires wampserver3.3.8. Where can I download it? Searching online and on various AI resources hasn't yielded any results. I guess I am obliged to finish using a WAMP server for debugging my scripts already even for PHP 8.5 RC3. With my apologies again. But as a greenhorn here, I probably haven't fully understood the purpose of the WAMP server yet. Greetings and thanks to all who are willed to teach me, tecmade
Thank you very much. A very useful link. I'll visit it more often to find the latest updates in the future. I'm curious about further updates for PHP 8.5.x.
