my problem is #10. I am trying to use Wordpress Duplicator addin to transfer live WP website to local pc but I keep getting the above error.

This is the access to MySQL which will only work in this case if you have defined a cocn user and its password.

Note: On Windows 10 using a third-party anti-virus (AVG) and a third-party firewall (Zone Alarm) can only generate problems.

Perhaps I have been lucky then. I first installed Wampserver in 2019 under Windows 10 with AVG & Zonealarm installed also and had no problems until I built a new computer this year, also with Windows 10 , AVG & Zonealarm. Installing Wampserver was when the problem arose. I will keep trying to fix it. Thanks for the info.
