php_error log filling up

I recently upgraded our WAMP server to 3.3.7, Apache to 2.4.63 and PHP to 8.4.3. I don't think this would have caused but I see that my php_error.log file gets filled up every few days. I have to frequently delete the log file by restart from zero click but I would like to know why the file doesn't cleanup automatically. Where can I check the settings to ensure the logs get cleaned up automatically? Thanks!

Don't you think that the best way to prevent the php_error.log file from filling up is to correct the errors that cause it to fill up in your code?

Automatic cleaning can only take place if Wampserver is stopped and started and the settings are in Right-click -> Wamp settings.
But, I repeat, log files can only be cleaned up if Wampserver is stopped and started.

You can manually clean up log files by right-clicking -> Tools -> Empty logs
