WampServer

Hi, I get a blank page when I open myphpadmin from wampserver. When I just type in localhost to the browser I get: Forbidden Apache/2.4.55 (Win64) OpenSSL/3.0.7 PHP/7.4.33 mod_fcgid/2.3.10-dev Server at localhost Port 80.

Everything is running which is good. However, I wanted to add a new site, so need a new database.

Wamp 3.3.1 64bit php 7.4.33 apache 2.4.55.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

7 - In the file c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, what are the active lines?
* Active means no # at the beginning of the line.


If the WampServer icon is green:

8 - Do you have access to localhost (Homepage WampServer)? NO, this is the problem I am inquiring about.
8a - If so, is there an error message at the bottom of the page?

9 - Do you have access to phpMyAdmin? NO, again this is the problem

10 - If you refer to an error message, please include the EXACT wording of the error in your post :
11 - If you use an Antivirus and / or Firewall, please include the names of these NONE
12 - What is the full path to the installation of WampServer (eg D:\wamp\) C:\wamp
13 - If you have one or more Virtual Hosts defined, please show their definition(s) How do I do this?

I noticed this problem after I updated wamp, apache, php, sql, and enabled ssl. I dont believe I had the problem before.

You write that there is no active lines in the hosts file !!!!

However, I was able to just now access an older version of myphpadmin that I found in my history bar where I was able to add a new database. So maybe something happened during the update?

Hi,

Access to PhpMyAdmin installed versions are made by :

- Left-Click -> PhpMyAdmin -> PhpMyAdmin x.y.z

or via homepage of Wampserver 'http://localhost/' in column Your aliases

Clear the cache of your browser (Ctrl-F5)
