WampServer

I use DUPLICATOR to migrate my Wordpress sites from a production environment to my localhost environtment for testing purposes. Every site but (1) will open correctly in WAMP. With the trouble site every page on the site opens correctly using wp-admin EXCEPT the launch page. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the site multiple times but always with the same result. Any ideas? Has anyone else encountered this issue. I have used WAMP for years but never have I had the trouble that I am having now.

Wordpress home url is also in the wordpress database. You also need to change this in accordance with the basic url.

can you be more clear on your answer so I know where to look?

In a table in the Wordpress database, maybe the table config, there's the Wordpress base url.

You have to update it because apparently Duplicator hasn't done it.

In no way is this a Wampserver problem.

This is issue was resolved; an errant plugin was the cause. It did not affect my production site, but did impact the testing site which was a mystery.
