WAPSERVER
Start of services
Be patient!

I have verified in the task manager that the traymenumanager is keep running in the foreground (not in the background as in previous version). The task icon is green and right/left buttons are working. But the above screen is keep running.

- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.

To simplify things, see https://wampserver.aviatechno.net, at the bottom of the page, under :
Best way to install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages

Do this, even if you are sure you have all the VC++ packages.

I have verified that all packages are installed using the Tool to check if the VC++ packages installed. I did that prior to the update

Yes, but that's not what I asked you to do!

I have several questions:
1. Is it save to run it, i.e. do I need to create a backup prior to running it.
2. Is this the command to run it: VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe /y

It's not necessary.
I've been using it for a few years now and I've never had any problems.

2. Is this the command to run it: VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe /y
Download the file. Right-click on the file, then Execute as administrator.

Thank you for the reply. I will start working on it and will let you know the outcome. I also noticed the following in the php_error.log. Could that be causing this issue.

Before launching Wampserver, delete this file.

I have completed VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe and deleted php.ini file.
The original reported issue with progress bar continuously running seems to be resolved. The progress bar disappeared and I see "All services running" when I lunch WAMPServer as Administrator.

However, I have encountered strange behavior of the task bar. The task icon is green and right/left buttons are NOT working now. However, when I reboot the server it starts working again. After sometime it is NOT working and I have to reboot.

I would like to attach two images from "Add or remove Programs" before I have updated Microsoft Visual C++ and after running VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe for you to compare. Please let me know how to attach these two images
