WampServer

Hi guys, I'm doing an on premise wordpress migration from an old 32bit LAMP VM to a WAMP server running on Server 2016. I've had everything up and running and was doing the last bit of the migration this weekend. I'm not sure what the heck happened but all of a sudden, the mysql service will not start. If I try to start the service through windows I get an error message about the service starting and stopping and I'm getting this error in the MYSQL logs. The only thing I can think of that may have caused this was I used a plugin in wordpress to fix my image URL's. They were pointing to [localhost]. I've been using the site for several hours, doing some last minute customizations. Was ready to send the "I'm done e-mail" then bam. Started getting some PHP errors on one of my table plugins. I use a plugin called ninjatables to parse some company data. These have been working just fine for the last 4 or 5 hours. I got the php errors, went to restart the WAMP services and now the wampmysqld64 service will not start. The site is still sorta working, but i'm getting php errors on some of my pages because the services is not started Can anyone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! Posting the whole log for clarity.

Hi,

Given that it comes from an "old 32bit LAMP VM", perhaps you shouldn't be using the latest version of MySQL, but an older version as well as PHP.

On the other hand: "The innodb_system data file 'ibdata1' must be writable" means that MySQL can't write to its own data folder. Are you the owner of the Wamp installation folder?

Windows Server 2016 is no longer supported.

- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.
Download packages on http://wampserver.aviatechno.net in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.
