Running on my home computer?

Hi..I was wondering if I can use this on my home WinXP computer. I have some forums that I wanted to use on my computer without being online but was told that I needed MySQL and other things. I have one XP and one Win98. Will it run on the Win98? I only need MySQL 4.0.25 as I don't think my program will run on 5.0, Can this be changed? And I don't have a server yet. Do I need anything special to run this program? As I am new to all of this can anyone give this advice..Thanks..Keithmj

I got it running but the program is not made to use 5.0 My server is running 4.0.25 what one would I replace this with that would let me run a forum program that uses MySQL 4? I want to use an updated phpMyAdmin so I can inport databases...Thanks..Keithmj
