My username is an email address that I no longer wish to use. I do have the "Email Address" set to my new email address, so that's not a problem. I am just wondering if I can change my Username to the new email address.

Or should I close my account and create a new account where my username is my new email address?

Although I'm a moderator, I don't have the authority to change a username.

I think the easiest thing to do is to close the current account and create a new one, but there's no obligation for the username to be the email address.
