phpmyadmin data folder

Hello.

I've installed Wamp 2.2 years ago on a Windows server 2008, upgraded to Windows server 2019.
No problems.

This week-end, after a magical Windows server update, Wamp was unable to go online.

So, perhaps it was time to update Wamp, I've installed the new Wamp version, 3.3.0.

It goes online, but phpmyadmin still works with the data folder of the 2.2 Wamp version (wamp folder).
The path is ok (wamp64 folder).

I've only 1 php application to run.
Of course it's not able to find the db.

I'll restart the Windows server tonight and see it it'll resolve the problem.

Someone have an idea of what could be a solution?

Thanks.

Hi,

It is not possible to have two versions of Wampserver on the same PC.

Before installing version 3.3.0, it is imperative to remove the wampapache(64) and wampmysld(64) services from version 2.2 before uninstalling version 2.2, of course having backed up your local sites and related databases.

You should also remember to empty your browser's cache from time to time.
