IPS Driver Error

Can anyone help with this i am trying to run Invision Power Board and i keep getting this error.

IPB WARNING [2] mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'pure'@'localhost' (using password: YES) (Line: 131 of \ips_kernel\class_db_mysql.php)

if you not changed the default root mysql user, then use the user root with no password to connect to mysql.

Try to delete the user "pure", and recreate it.

If still no joy, it could be possible that you have typed the password incorrectly in either SQL or Invision config file.
