Is it possible to change the path for a Virtual host? the "Modify VirtualHost form" allows me to view the host and document path these are readonly. Or is there a setting I need to change?

The "Modify VirtualHost" form only allows you to add or remove the FCGI mode and/or the PHP version used by the FCGI mode.

If you want to modify the path of a VirtualHost, you have to do it directly in the httpd-vhosts.conf file without forgetting to do Right-Click -> Restart from zero so that it is taken into account.

What OS is the web server using? What version of apache?

Usually at the end of the httpd.conf file will be a line telling apache to check all the *.conf files in a directory.

Create your own mywebsitename.conf in that directory. The idea is you make your own configuration file which will not get overwritten.
